Hello, I'm Lisa!

I’m a product designer based in Toronto, Canada, driven by a passion for solving real problems through thoughtful, user-centered design. I’ve always had an eye for detail and a practical mindset, which helps me create solutions that are not just visually engaging but genuinely functional.

With experience across various industries—and having run my own business—I understand the unique challenges of building products that balance user needs with business goals. This perspective helps me design with empathy while staying focused on the bigger picture.

My journey into design began with a strong foundation in fine arts, which I started exploring at the age of 12. This early training sharpened my understanding of visual fundamentals. I furthered my education in visual design at Kaywon Art High School in South Korea and later expanded my expertise by studying fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.

After graduating college, I followed my entrepreneurial passion and started a vegan bakery in South Korea—building it from the ground up into a media-featured business. That six-year journey taught me what it takes to build something from the ground up and ultimately sparked my interest in product design.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me playing video games (mostly LoL), caring for my plants, or exploring clever cleaning hacks for my space. ☺
